This series of abstract and expressive landscapes arises from an exploration of the materiality of oil paint and various ways of applying it, whether through transparencies or thick layers with small or large brushstrokes. The landscapes convey a playful and joyful spirit, but at the same time evoke a sense of solitude and distance, as if they belonged to a lost world. They are spaces that feel physical, even though they don't refer to a specific place.
